Bible Apostasy

By Prophet Jacob R. Blandford

We are living in the last days before the Lord Jesus Christ’s imminent return, and these last days mark a time predicted by Christ Himself, the apostles, and prophets of apostasy. (see Matt. 24:3-5, 11, 24; 2 Thess. 2:3; 1 Tim. 4:1; 2 Tim. 3:1, 4:3; 2 Pet. 3:3; Amos 8:11)  In Revelation 3, the risen Christ commends the Philadelphian church for a time of revival (1500-1900 A.D.) because the Philadelphians “kept the word” (Rev. 3:10).  But next Christ reproves the lukewarm Laodicean church (1900-?) and calls them “…wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked” (Rev. 3:17) because of their apostasy: this is the last church before the Rapture (see Rev. 4:1).  The main form of apostasy in America today can be found in no greater way than Bible corruption (see 2 Cor. 2:17).  Just like in the world today there are many false gods and false religions—yet one true God and Saviour (see 1 Cor. 8:5-6); so there are many “new” (Deut. 32:17; Judges 5:8) perverted English bibles—yet one true Holy Bible (AV 1611).  Jeremiah predicted men would pervert the word of God in Jeremiah 23:36.  Remember, according to the Apostle Paul, “For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.” (1 Cor. 14:33)  Do you want to see confusion?  Try responsive Bible reading in most church congregations today!  Who do you want handling, preaching, teaching, and translating the word of God?  Infidels, reprobates, “false brethren” (2 Cor. 11:26; Gal 2:4), “cursed children” (2 Pet. 2:14), “enemies of the cross” (Phil. 3:18), “ravening wolves” (Matt. 7:15), and evil men seduced by Satan?  Or true men of God that are born-again (see John 3:3, 7; 1 Pet. 1:23), evangelical (see 2 Tim. 4:5), lovers of Jesus Christ (see 1 Cor. 16:22; Eph. 6:24)—that have a real walk with God (see Gen. 5:22-23; Rom. 8:1, 4), and a healthy fear of the Lord? (see Proverbs 1:7, 8:13, 9:10, 14:2, etc.)  Most real men of God recognized the Textus Receptus (with 95% of the exant manuscripts in agreement) to be the TRUTH (see Dan. 10:21; John 17:17): from the apostles, to those who read the Syrian Peshitta, to Ulfilas (“Little Wolf”) with his Gothic Bible, to the Waldenses and Albigenses in the Alps with their pure Latin Bibles, to John Wycliffe (“The Morning Star of the Reformation”), to Protestants like Huss, Luther, Tyndale, Cranmer, and Calvin, all the way up to King James and his 54 learned translators.  There is a trail of blessing and revival wherever these men and their Holy Bibles have gone.  But the evil men gave heed to the Gnostic teachings of the first century, followed by Origen who torn through the Bible with no conscience: changing things he didn’t like about the word, after spiritualizing and allegorizing everything he couldn’t wrap his pagan mind around.  After Origen altered the word he produced his NEW text in the third century.  Constantine adopted Origen’s corrupted text to create fifty Greek bibles (the Vaticanus and Sinaiticus come from these [see Matt. 26:60]).  From these Greek bibles—Jerome, a ‘conservative fundamentalist’ commissioned by the papists, created his Latin Vulgate to compete with the Waldenses’ pure Latin Bible.  Rome’s Vulgate threw the known world into the Dark Ages for nearly a thousand years, until the Received or Majority Text was rediscovered (see 2 Kings 22; 2 Chr. 34) at the Protestant Reformation by Erasmus and others.  It makes sense that Satan, as the sworn enemy of God, would attempt to destroy the word of God since God has magnified it above all His Name (see Ps. 138:2): and Satan would actually use ‘godly, prayerful Christians’ to do it. (see 2 Cor. 11:13-15)  As a matter of fact, ever since the garden of Eden Satan has question and attacked God’s word, he said to Eve: “Yea, hath God said...?” (Gen. 3:1)  And the devil hasn’t stopped saying that since then, neither has he stopped persecuting those who have obeyed the gospel of Christ.  In English, Satan has produced the AMP, ASV, CEV, CSB, DRA, ERV, ESV, GNB, ICB, JB, LB, MOF, MSG, NAB, NAS, NAU, NCV, NEB, NET, NIV, NJB, NLT, NRS, NWT, PHI, REB, RSV, WEB, and WNT!  All of these versions have basically the same errors and omissions because they match the Vaticanus, the Vulgate of the Dark Ages/Medieval Period, and the Jesuit Rheims bible of 1582.  These versions are antichrist and match the heretical Jehovah’s Witnesses’ unholy text.  Yet God has promised to preserve His word amidst such struggle (see Ps. 12:6-7, 119:89, 160; Is. 40:8; Matt. 5:18, 24:35; Mark 13:31; Luke 16:17, 21:33; 1 Pet. 1:25).  This preserved word can be found in Elizabethan English in the Authorized Version of 1611.  Proverbs 30:5 says, “Every word of God is pure” and Psalms 119:140 says the KJV is “very pure”.  The AV 1611 has gone into more than one billion copies worldwide and is responsible more salvations, revivals, and edification than all the other Alexandrian bibles combined.  The Lord expounded this difference in “fruit” in Matthew 7:15-20.  Men who have read and studied the KJV have an excellent understanding of theology and prophecy; the same cannot be said about those who have dabbled with Satan’s bibles: these are the men responsible for false teachings and denying the deity of Jesus Christ (see 2 Pet. 2:1; Jude 4).  Speaking of the deity of Jesus Christ, there is no other book on the face of this earth that glorifies the divinity of our Lord Jesus Christ such as the AV—on the other hand, in new versions, Jesus’ name and titles are removed scores of times; and verses which promote His glory in the KJV are distorted: such as Psalms 2:12, Isaiah 7:14, Daniel 3:25, Micah 5:2, John 9:35, Acts 20:28, Philippians 2:6, 1 Timothy 3:16, and 1 John 5:7.  Jesus said that the true Scriptures will testify of Himself (see John 5:39).  Westcott and Hort, who helped usher in this tidal wave of apostasy, were heavily involved in the occult and they were closet Roman Catholics—posing to be Evangelicals, they used the Pope’s manuscript to introduce some 36,000 changes to the King James Bible.  Since then every proud scholar who has resented the authority of the 1611 has followed their pattern of perversion, until our churches and Christian bookstores have become flooded with bibles which God will never honour and bless.  But as long as England and America honored the Monarch of the Books, God blessed and prospered these nations.  The Great Awakenings in colonial and early America broke out.  Some of our best preachers and evangelists were KJV men: men like Wesley, Whitefield, Spurgeon, Finny, and Moody.  But today is a different story, “how are the mighty fallen!” (2 Sam. 1:19)  Today all we hear about is love, love, love; and ‘Judge not!’  I admit these are Biblical truths, but it’s not “all the counsel of God.” (Acts 20:27)  Just as much as Christ is a God of love (see 1 John 4:8, 16); so is He of wisdom (see Ps. 147:5; Prov. 21:30; Col. 2:3) and judgment (the words “judgment”, “judgments”, “judge”, and “judgeth” are found over 600 times in the KJB—plus there’s the Old Testament Book of JUDGES).  You might think it’s useless or too judgmental to compare the Bible versions (like Gail Riplinger did in her book ‘New Age Versions’ and Dr. Peter S. Ruckman in his ‘Manuscript Evidence’); but God wants us to “Prove all things” (1 Thess. 5:21), “try the spirits” (1 John 4:1), and to “teach my people the difference between the holy and profane, and cause them to discern between the unclean and the clean.” (Ezek. 44:23). (see also Lev. 10:10; Ezek. 22:26; Mal. 3:18)  I don’t care that the proud (see Prov. 16:15; James 4:6; 1 Pet. 5:5), ‘intellectual’ (see Job 37:24; 1 Cor. Ch. 1-2) theologians and seminaries favor the Alexandrian versions; Jesus Christ said “...that which is highly esteemed among men is abomination in the sight of God.” (Luke 16:15)  If men like the Pharisees held the Lord Jesus Christ in contempt, you’ll bet your buttons they’ll hold His Bible (AV 1611) in contempt too (remember He’s the Word Incarnate [see John 1:1, 14; Rev. 19:13]): “...wilt thou condemn me, that thou mayest be righteous?” (Job 40:8)  However the Holy Bible has always had a place in the humble, common man’s heart: that’s why the KJV is sold in dollar stores.  The Old Testament of the King James Bible was translated from the Hebrew Masoretic text, a text that has stood the test of time and was meticulously preserved by the Levites and Jewish rabbis.  However, the demon-possessed scholars of the 20th and 21st centuries have fallen in love with the Vaticanus manuscript, even though it’s a Roman Catholic text; the Old Testament is in Greek (not Hebrew), the Apocrypha is attached to the inspired canon (not separated from the Old and New Testaments like in the 1611).  It also omits the Pastoral Epistles (1 Timothy-Titus), the Book of Revelation, the last third of Hebrews, and scores of phrases, words, and verses which are found in the Textus Receptus.  The Vaticanus is simply not steady ground to begin Bible study with; it’s a curtailed, gross perversion of the word of God: and so are the Bible versions that are based upon it.  When you hear some Alexandrian complaining that the AV 1611 had the Apocrypha as part of the translation, tell him the Apocrypha in the AV was BETWEEN the Testaments, not as part of the inspired canon like the Egyptian manuscript he idolizes.  It was translated for its historical benefits (recalling the ‘silent years’); NOT for putting it on the same level as Scripture.  The Lord Jesus Christ set forth the Old Testament Canon in Luke 11:51, 24:44.  None of the apostles quoted from these spurious books in the New Testament.  I have quotations on file from King James himself where he said it would corrupt the word of God to equate the Apocrypha with Scripture.  Apostle Paul quoted heathen poetry (see Acts 17:28) before he would quote the Apocrypha.  To this day, orthodox Jews and Bible-believing Christians reject the Apocrypha as part of their canon, therefore the Roman Catholics put a curse on them at the Council of Trent for that.  (The leaders in the Roman Catholic church also forbid any Catholic to read Erasmus’ Textus Receptus at the Council of Trent too.  And the AV 1611 is based off that manuscript.)  Some people say the King James Bible cannot be inspired because the 1611 translators didn’t claim to be inspired.  Well, that maybe true but you’ll have a hard time finding anywhere where the Old Testament prophets or New Testament apostles claimed inspiration for their writings—yet most scholars will submit to the fact that the original autographs were inspired.  Then there are some that say the AV can’t be inspired because that’s ‘double inspiration’ (viz. inspired originally and then inspired again at translation).  Well, let me remind you that every quotation the apostles made in the New Testament of the Old Testament was inspired twice: once it was inspired in the original Hebrew, and then inspired again when it was translated by the apostles and written in Greek, because the New Testament was written in Koine Greek.  Then there are some which talk about ‘The Bible’ or ‘The Scriptures’ to sound like a Bible-believer, but in their minds they believe that the Bible was only inspired in the originals and lost since then.  First off, there never was such a thing as a Bible put together containing all the original autographs put together because the Bible was written over a period of 1,600 years, by forty different authors, on three different continents, in three different languages—all those originals could no way have been put together in one book.  Moreover, all the originals have turned to dust.  How did God preserve His words?  Through meticulous and scrupulous copies.  How do I know?  Because the Apostle Paul said Timothy had the inspired scriptures from his childhood (see 2 Tim. 3:15-16), the Bereans had the scriptures (see Acts 17:11), the Ethiopian eunuch had the scriptures (see Acts 8:32) and was made “wise unto salvation” (see 2 Tim. 3:15), Christ inferred the Sadducees had the scriptures (see Mark 12:24), Christ read the scriptures (see Luke 4:16-21), why would He ask the people if they had ever read the Psalms (see Luke 20:42) if they didn’t have access to them?  The King James Bible is simply an inspired translation of the originals that were providentially preserved through copies that came down through church history.  If you don’t think God would honor a translation or that a translation cannot be better than the originals, then you need to read 2 Samuel 3:10, Colossians 1:13, and Hebrews 11:5.  Paul said “...all men have not faith.” (2 Thess. 3:2), that’s the reason why so many people today don’t believe the KJV to be God’s word: they don’t believe God would give us a perfect Bible (see Ps. 19:7).  They doubt God.  But a man of true Christian faith will “live by faith” (Rom. 1:17), “contend for the faith” (Jude 3), and walk in “the word of faith” (Rom. 10:8)—he wouldn’t trust a bible like the NIV, which says David didn’t kill Goliath (see 2 Sam. 21:19), gives Christ’s “morning star” (Rev. 22:16) title to the devil in Isaiah 14:12, and omits 64,000 words!  Every Biblical scholar should beware of Revelation 22:18-19 and Proverbs 30:6.  Just as Greek was the worldwide language at Christ’s first coming; English is and will be the worldwide language at Christ’s second coming.  The King James Bible was predicted in the Hebrew Old Testament in Zephaniah 3:9, because the King’s Jacobean English is that “pure language”.  If you think the modern versions are pure bibles, you need to consider the following omissions: here’s a small sampling—Matt. 18:11; Mark 2:17, 15:28; Luke 4:4, 24:42; John 3:13; Acts 2:30, 7:30, 8:37, 28:29; Rom. 1:16, 15:8; 1 Cor. 15:47; Gal. 3:1; Eph. 3:9; Col. 1:2, 14; 1 John 4:3, 5:7; Jude 25; Rev. 1:9, 12:17.  Behind the Alexandrian versions is without question an unclean spirit of ecumenicism, but the AV is uniquely Protestant.  Do you know of any version other than the 1611 that identifies the Roman Pontiff as the Antichrist in the prefatory section? (see The Epistle Dedicatory)  Remembering the principal of Ecclesiastes 1:9, all of this Bible apostasy hasn’t caught God off guard! (see Acts 15:18)  Actually the Lord predicted this change in Psalms 106:20, Jeremiah 2:11, Ezekiel 5:6, and Romans 1:25.  The word of the Lord is a sword. (see Eph. 6:17; Heb. 4:12)  The AV is that sharp two-edged sword which cuts men to the heart (see Acts 5:33, 7:54), it is also highly effective when facing demonic forces—as Christ Jesus exhibited in Matthew 4 and Luke 4.  But the modern versions are so dulled down they are like a butter knife compared to the 1611.  Reading a NIV is like shaving with a banana.  Modern versions take away the only commandment to study the Bible in 2 Tim. 2:15; they also take away Paul’s warning against “science” in 1 Tim. 6:20.  ‘When in doubt, throw the new versions out!’  Do you really think you have a HOLY Bible?  Well then you better consider that the word “holy” has been removed from modern perversions in the following verses: Matt. 12:31, 25:31; John 7:39; Acts 6:3, 8:18; 1 Cor. 2:13; 1 Thess. 5:27; 2 Pet. 1:21; Rev. 18:20, 22:6.  That’s not very “holy” to me!  Did you ever consider that the 1611 was translated under a KING (see Prov. 16:10; Ecc. 8:4)?  It was translated in London, England: an English monarchy, not an American democracy.  Therefore the KJV is the only real ENGLISH Bible.  Moreover, the king’s name was “James”, the Greek form of “Jacob”, who was named “Israel” (see Gen. 32:28, 35:10; 2 Kings 17:34); and Israel is the name of the nation of the Jews to whom “were committed the oracles of God.” (Rom. 3:2)  In Isaiah 2:3, 29:23, and 41:21 the LORD calls Himself “the God of Jacob”, “the Holy One of Jacob”, and “the King of Jacob”—again, in Isaiah, God calls Himself “the mighty One of Jacob” (Is. 49:26, 60:16).  There are 9 letters in the words “Holy Bible”, there are 9 letters in “Lord Jesus”, there are 9 letters in the words “King James”, and there are 9 fruits of the Spirit (see Gal. 5:22-23)—and the Epistle to the Galatians is the 9th Book in the New Testament.  And the word GALATIANS has 9 letters in it.  Again, the number 9 comes up with the year the translation was complete (1611 A.D.): what’s 1+6+1+1?  Nine!  Then multiply 1x6x11, what do you get?  66, the number of Books in the Protestant Canon!  The prophetic Book of Isaiah has 66 Chapters—with a division between the 39th and 40th Chapters—because there is also a division in the Biblical Canon, separating the Old Testament from the New Testament: after the last (or 39th) Book of the Old Testament.  King James is actually the founding monarch of America, a few years before his Bible translation was complete he sent three ships containing 144 men to establish ‘Jamestown’ in the New World.  The James River is also named after King James, and it runs through the state of Virginia.  Virginia was named after ‘the virgin’ Queen Elizabeth (James’ predecessor), referred to in the Epistle Dedicatory as “that bright Occidental Star”.  Her Bishop’s Bible served as the basis for the King James translation; therefore the KJV is not only a translation, but also a transformation.  The AV 1611 has been purified seven times according to Psalms 12:6-7 and its English tradition and refinement follows like this: (1) Tyndale [1525] (2) Coverdale [1535] (3) Matthews [1537] (4) Great [1538] (5) Geneva [1560] (6) Bishop’s [1568] (7) King James [1611].  These Bibles reflect the original readings the apostles wrote; these are Christological and Trinitarian Holy Bibles: and are the Bibles of veritable believers throughout New Testament church history.  That’s why the psalmist said, “the word of the LORD is tried” (Ps. 18:30).  James was a prophetically acute king who wrote commentaries on Matthew, Revelation, 1 Chronicles, and other places in the Bible.  The Holy Bible is a supernatural book, requiring faith to comprehend it.  Any book with as much prophecy and fulfillments of prophecy should be handled with a special spiritual care: which the 1611 translators exhibited in Dr. Miles Smith’s preface.  Unfortunately the modern scholars are destitute of true piety: they are more interested in pagan Catholicism, vain philosophies, textual criticism, and sciences—Christ Jesus called such highminded men and the Roman Catholic clergy “Nicolaitans” (Rev. 2:6, 15).  They are like Diotrephes (see 3 John 9) and Alexander the coppersmith (see 2 Tim. 4:14-15).  There is no copyright © on the KJV: it is publick domain (see 2 Thess. 3:1; 2 Tim. 2:9), because it isn’t man’s word—it is God’s word!  All the other versions are copyrighted because they are after the $$$. (see 1 Tim. 6:10)  The deplorable NKJV denies the Lord’s virgin birth in Acts 4:27, 30.  Proverbs 22:28 is a warning to not remove the 1611 from our church pulpits and pews.  2 John 4 and 3 John 4 tell us that the Father would certainly want us to have a pure copy of the Holy Bible, because “the holy scriptures” (Rom. 1:2; 2 Tim. 3:15) are the “truth”.  If Jesus said our Heavenly Father would give us the Holy Spirit if we asked him (see Luke 11:13), don’t you think He’d give you the Holy Bible too!  The AV contains “the words of truth” (Prov. 22:21).  King Solomon, speaking under the inspiration of the Holy Ghost (see 2 Pet. 1:21), summed it all up in one sentence: “Whoso despiseth the word shall be destroyed: but he that feareth the commandment shall be rewarded.” (Prov. 13:13 KJV)  Amen.
